CoP Bhaskar Rao Warns People Of Lathicharge If They Defy Lockdown Orders & Venture Out To Light Diya

City commissioner of police Bhaskar Rao has instructed police officers to resort to lathicharge people if they defy lockdown orders and venture out to light diyas. On 22nd March, when Prime Minister called for janata curfew, several people came out of their house and gathered in large numbers to make noise. To ensure that people don’t gather in large numbers to light diyas at 9pm as appealed by PM, police commissioner has instructed cops to resort to lathicharge in case the situation gets out of control. The cops will also hold route march in front of their police stations.
