CSGO noubershader launch option, does it make a big difference?

Recently there has been a CSGO update adding the -noubershader launch option. The CSGO blog stated that it can boost your FPS. I was really curious what the difference was, but nobody seemed to have really tested it... So i went ahead and tested it for you! :D

As far as i can tell there isn't really a difference when using this launch option for the hardware that i'm currently using. For most people it's probably best to not use this new launch option.

This is the launch option used in the video:

Time stamps:

- Test 1: Laptop with Intel HD 3000 Graphics 0:34
- Test 2: Computer with AMD R9 390x 2:26
- Test 3: Laptop with NVS4200m Graphics 4:18
- Results: 6:18
- Conclusion: 6:26



Computer specs:

i7 3770k overclocked to 4,4Ghz
Asus maximus IV Extreme (b3)
AMD R9 390x 8gb (MSI gaming edition)
16GB of Ram
Windows 7 64-bit (I know it's obsolete... bit i still use it anyways :P)

(Custom settings, mostly maxed out. 1080p)


Laptop specs (Dell latitude E6520):

Intel Core i7 2760QM
8GB of RAM
256 Samsung 860 EVO
Dedicated GPU: Nvidia NVS 4200m
Integrated GPU: Intel HD 3000
Drivers: Latest Optimal driver for Enterprise (ODE)
Windows 10 Pro 64-bit

(low settings, 720p resolution)
