David Trotter is an author, transformation coach, and the host of Inspiration Rising, a podcast dedicated to inspiring women (and the men who support them) to rise up in life, love, and leadership. His newest book is entitled "Empowered to Rise: The Secret to Embracing Your True Identity, Uncovering Your Super Powers, and Bringing Your Inspiration to the World." Through his Launch Your Life coaching program he helps women (and men) overcome difficult life transitions (divorce, empty nest, job dissatisfaction) and develop a workable plan to make lasting changes.
For over 25 years, he’s helped people get unstuck, clarify their goals, and take their lives to the next level through his leadership, speaking, writing, and filmmaking. After investing a decade in full-time ministry starting multiple growing churches in southern California, David has spent the last twelve years running his own six-figure marketing business serving both corporate and non-profit clients. In addition to writing twelve books, David has produced and directed four award-winning feature films on social justice issues including Mother India: Life Through the Eyes of the Orphan, In Plain Sight: Stories of Hope and Freedom, Set Free Posse: Jesus Freaks, Biker Gang, or Christian Cult?, and The Road to Edmond. David and his wife, Laura, have been married for over 25 years and live with their two almost-grown children in southern California.
