The NFL Draft garners the bulk of the media’s attention every offseason. All of the networks, reporters, and fans alike are eager to see where the elite of college football are going to take their talents professionally.
Furthermore, these fans really want to see who their teams are going to end up taking.
It’s unavoidable, though… Every year one or two organizations make headlines for making a draft pick that is so shocking that is seems very few people outside the walls of their franchise headquarters are in agreement with the decision.
Now, that’s not to say that these picks are always wrong… There have been some triumphant stories, where the draftee exceeds expectations and proves all the doubters wrong.
But those are the outliers… More often than not, when a pick is unanimously despised – there is a reason why… So, without further a due, let’s take a look every NFL team’s most controversial draft day decision EVER.
