Duterte orders PhilHealth to make OFW premium payments voluntary

President Rodrigo Duterte ordered PhilHealth to make the payment of health premiums voluntary for overseas Filipino workers, following widespread criticism over the government’s moves to hike premium rates during the coronavirus outbreak.
