US Coronavirus Death Toll Passes 50,000 As Trump Says Disinfectant Remark Was ‘Sarcastic’  | TODAY Some businesses in Georgia that were forced to close due to the deadly coronavirus outbreak are now allowed to reopen, despite the coronavirus death toll in the U.S. exceeding 50,000. This comes as President Donald Trump said his comments about using disinfectant for internal use in COVID-19 patients was “sarcastic.” He later made brief comments at Friday’s coronavirus task force briefing and then left without taking questions.
