THE BUILDING BLOCKS OF TANGIBLE HERITAGE: from atoms to molecules to crystals

THE BUILDING BLOCKS OF TANGIBLE HERITAGE: from atoms to molecules to crystals THE BUILDING BLOCKS OF TANGIBLE HERITAGE: from atoms to molecules to crystals
Tangible heritage is an important aspect of cultural heritage. But what is tangible heritage made of? Think of Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa, for example. What makes up this famous painting? Every object or site of cultural heritage is made of the basic building blocks as any material: atoms, molecules, and crystals.
In this video, we discuss the atomic structure, we learn about the elements in the periodic table, and we learn how atoms can assemble in molecules, and how atoms and molecules can associate to form crystal structures. We also learn about a famous art forger, Wolfgang Beltracchi, and how scientific evidence helped in catching him and revealing his painting forgeries.

Comment below and let me know which scientific technique you would like to learn about in the future.

Here's the video that explains WHAT IS CULTURAL HERITAGE? And how can we preserve our world heritage through Science?
