This is a pest control video. If you do not like pest control, do not watch this video. #MaverickMonday is usually just an Instagram thing, but this week turned into a short video featuring two 40 yard shots off of one of our new bird feeders that have been overrun by grey squirrels. It is not uncommon to see five at a time on the #backyardrange even though we’ve been pressuring them consistently for the past few years.
For the first time since I’ve lived here, we are starting to see song bird nesting and regular activity, so we know our efforts to provide habitat for songbirds is starting to work. We had excellent early spring weather over the weekend and bird song song could be heard over traffic noise!
