I needed to print a wiring diagram for my Honda but I needed it bigger than A4 size. Luckily there is a solution with Windows 10 and Google Chrome!
I had a secondary problem where the background colour of the wiring diagram was a shade of grey (I think) and I definately did not want the printer to waste ink on that. To fix this I used Adobe Acrobat Reader and Microsoft Paint.
All these vids were made today but I've split them into three chapters with timestamps below. This is why I apologise three seperate times for a small annoying glitch that pops up on the video, when I use my screen magnifying utility while recording the PC desktop.
Timestamps:
0:01 Using Google Chrome to print a large image/page to larger than A4 size with multiple sheets of A4 paper
6:25 Changing the background of a page to another colour (generally white to use less printer ink)
17:50 Using Adobe Acrobat Reader to print larger than A4 size with A4 paper; some more flexibility than via Chrome.
Trigger warning! If you say "Adobe-y" rather than "A-dohb" you're not going to like this video! I admit I don't say it the right way but it was how I said it for years before I finally heard the pronunciation 😁
If you know of a quicker *free* way of changing the background colour of that page then I'd appreciate it if you let me know in the comments 🙏
