Amid the rising number of COVID-19 cases in Delhi, speculation had been raging over the last few days on the government imposing lockdown restrictions again. Today, however, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has said that no such plan has been made by the government with regard to curbing the spread of COVID. Kejriwal said that people have been speculating another phase of the lockdown but no such talks have been initiated in an official capacity. The increase in the number of cases has prompted the central government to start helping the state ramp up healthcare infrastructure.
