Hong Kong proposal will destroy UK-China relations – Galloway

On this day 23 years ago, Hong Kong was returned from British control to China in a peaceful and celebratory manner. Today, some 300 so-called pro-democracy protesters have been arrested as China implements new laws for the region, and the UK is offering to grant citizenship to as many as 3 million Hongkongers.
